This versatile holder will keep your knives and related tools convenient to you while the hollow design ensures they stay well ventilated and drained.
In the bamboo top, there are slots for 6 knifes. Full specifications are provided below. Virtually any knife will fit (width of slot = 0.5 cms + 1 extra-wide slot of 0.8cms width). We also provide a rectangular slot for scissors, and a circular opening for your sharpening rod. (8 slots in total). 2 slots have positioning cutouts for extra stability of knives.
Great attention has been paid to the design of this knife holder. The bamboo top slot block is removable should you need to. The white paint has been electrostatically applied to the metal mesh frame - this means the metal is resistant to rust and corrosion. So you be able to enjoy using this kitchen gadget for many years to come.
We have also included two internal guide rails for the middle slots, so that any knife you insert into the middle slots will be contained within these guide rails and so not catch against knives placed in the outer slots. This anti-collision feature ensures precious knives stay undamaged and pristine.
We have also added silicone feet to the bottom of the holder to resist sliding and make sure there is no scratching of any valuable or delicate surfaces. And finally, you'll find a removable drip tray - just in case any of your knives are a little wet when you place them in the holder, the tray will prevent your countertop or work surface from becoming wet. You can quickly and easily drain this water away by sliding the tray out (dishwasher proof).
We chose bamboo for the top block because bamboo is ideal for use in the kichen. It is antibacterial and antifungal. And since it is more water resistant than hardwood it won't harbour moisture and become smelly. Plus it looks simply gorgeous combined with the hite of the display stand itself!
